Goals for the Lady Bug 1 year-old Program
- Walking independently
- Transition from bottle to sippy cup
- Sign language for communication
- Begin to use words to express one’s emotions and feelings
- Use spoon to feed self
- Transition from high chair to sitting at table for meals and art projects
- Sitting for circle time
- Able to hold a book correctly and turn the pages
- Learn colors and shapes
- Count to 10 and recite the “Alphabet Song” with teacher assistance
- Exposure to uppercase alphabet letters and numbers to 10
- Begin to potty train
